London – 24th March 2010 – The final table is set at the http://www.partypoker.com/ Women’s World Open IV in London.
Play is expected to run until late into the night. The chip leader is Caroline Cove, a landlady from West Lancashire in the UK on 1,290,000, followed by French journalist Claire Renaut on 1,275,000 chips. Shortly behind Claire is Pippa Flanders, winner of the PartyPoker.com World Open II in 2006. Like then, Pippa is supported at the final table by her lucky donkey mascot Eemore.

The 24 player $3,000 buy-in tournament features a total prize pool of $72,000 and a six-seat final table. First prize is $30,000. The top two players from each of the three deep-stacked eight handed heats carried their chips through to the final table. Starting stacks for the heats were 200,000, with blinds starting at 1,000/2,000. Amongst those eliminated in the heats include Team PartyPoker.com’s Kara Scott, Annette Obrestad, Women’s World Open III winner Aisling Collins and last year’s runner-up, Kim Wooka from Japan. Others to exit include Laurence Grondin, Maria Demetriou, Christine Klecz, and season two winner Soraya Homam.
