GENIUS PROMOTION EXTENDED BY 5 MILLION HANDS! ONE MONSTER $100K PAYOUT LOOKS IMMINENT – MIGHT IT BE THURSDAY?
Juli 14, 2009
Gibraltar – 14th July – http://www.partypoker.com/ promotion ‘The Genius ’ has been extended by 5 million hands! This means that as well as one monster $100k payout for the 10 millionth hand there will also be a $50k payout for the 15 millionth hand. There have already been over 7.5 million ‘Genius’ hands, paying out over $147,000 in prizes.
The promotion, which started on Monday 6th July, involves PartyPoker.com squaring the pot of every 50,000th hand that’s played on cash tables to create mind-blowing jackpots, from a minimum of $250 up to a staggering $5,000. Better still, everyone involved in the hand will get an equal share of the payout, while the winner will also take the original pot. Due to great feedback, the minimum genius jackpot has already been raised to $250 from $100! In addition, every millionth hand during The Genius will have a guaranteed $10,000 prize pool. All the players dealt into these special Genius hands will share these fantastic cash prizes.
A PartyPoker.com spokesman said: “It didn’t take a genius to extend this promotion as the feedback has been great. With over 7.5 million hands dealt already the golden $100k ten millionth hand is fast approaching. It is difficult to tell when this might happen but our initial estimation is that Thursday could be a seriously genius day!”
The promotion runs for 15 million hands, counted from 12.00 ET on Monday 6th July. The details are as follows:
- If a Genius hand hits on a table where the pot stands at $70, PartyPoker.com will square it to give all the players an equal share of $4,900: $70 X $70 = $4,900
- If a Genius hand hits on a table where the pot stands at $20, PartyPoker.com will square it to give all the players an equal share of $400: $20 x $20 = $400
- If a Genius hand hits on a table where the pot stands at $8, PartyPoker.com will give all the players an equal share of $250
