PARTYPOKER.COM EUROPEAN OPEN V FINAL TABLE CHANNING, GOODWIN AND ROMANELLO MAKE FINAL SIX

The final table is set at the PartyPoker.com European Open V and gets underway shortly. The Matchroom Sport organized 72 runner $7,000 buy-in tournament has been running since Friday 6 February and featured 12 six seat heats and two six seat turbo runner-up heats. There were two seven seat semi-finals and now one six seat final. The top three players in each of the semi-finals have taken their chip stacks through to the final. The final table includes current European rankings topper Marc Goodwin. Joining Goodwin is Andy Ward, who as well as being a PartyPoker.com $300k Guaranteed winner, finished fourth in the PartyPoker.com World Open IV for $30,000. 46-year-old Worcester internet sports trader Craig Burgess has made the final table for the second year running and will be looking to go one better after finishing runner-up for $100,000 to Nick Slade at the PartyPoker.com European Open IV in 2008. Also on the final table is popular Welsh pro Roberto Romanello and Belfast civil servant William Taylor goes in as chip leader. Making up the final six, and going in with a big target on his head, is current Irish Open champion and PartyPoker.com World Open IV runner-up Neil Channing.
