Gibraltar – 19th March 2009 – PartyPoker.com’s Million Dollar Hand Promotion has been running since the 11th March but now, due to popular demand, the promotion has been extended to run until the 27th March. The promotion was originally slated to finish on the 22nd March but in light of consistent customer requests and frantic activity on the site there is a five day extension!

A PartyPoker.com spokesman said: “This promotion has been phenomenally popular and we’ve been inundated with requests to extend it. We’ve listened and are adding an extra five days. So far there have been two straight flushes and some close calls with the royal flush. If a royal flush hits we pay $1 million!”

At the start of yesterday the promotion had seen the creation of 22,841 pairs, 2581 two pairs, 1184 three of a kind, 202 straights, 136 flushes, 75 full houses,15 four of a kind and 2 straight flushes.

Players at PartyPoker.com’s real money tables will get a playing card for every 15 PartyPoints they earn between the 11th and 27th March 2009 and will receive a prize when they’ve built a five-card hand. There’s a guaranteed cash prize if the hand features a pair or better – a royal flush pays $1 million! There is no limit on the number of royal flushes that can be hit and the promotion starts with players getting their first card for free.

Points are not removed from player accounts following the promotion – they all count towards Palladium Lounge targets. Players will only be able to reveal a maximum of two hands per day and 24 across the whole of the promotion period. All players have to go to their Party Account to reveal their cards; any unrevealed card/hand will not be taken into account.
