RISE TO THE CHALLENGE OF THE GLADIATOR!

Gibraltar – 26^th March 2009 – With the Million Dollar Hand reaching its climax on Friday 27^th March, http://www.partypoker.com/ is pleased to announce details of its next wide ranging promotion: The Gladiator. Only the bravest players will be rewarded in the fight to earn PartyPoints when the arena opens between the 1^st – 25^th April. Players have to opt in to the promotion.

Players have to hit a daily minimum target of 10 points for at least 10 days and will win a prize of at least $5 at the end of the promotion. The more days a player earns the minimum number of points on, the bigger the prize will be. You don’t even have to earn points on consecutive days to be in with a shot at our colossal prizes: we’ll just count up the number of days you’ve made the targets on during the promotion. For example, if you earn 10 points every day for 10 days, take five days off and then earn 10 points on 10 more days of the promotion, we’ll award you the prize for earning 10 points on 20 days. Players will be able to track their progress when they go into their Party Account. Points are not removed from player accounts following the promotion – they all count towards Palladium Lounge targets.

Players at PartyPoker.com’s real money tables will get a playing card for every 15 PartyPoints they earn between the 11^th and 27th March 2009 and will receive a prize when they’ve built a five-card hand. There’s a guaranteed cash prize if the hand features a pair or better – a royal flush pays $1 million! On the 24^th March PartyPoker.com had paid out 54,866 pairs, 6,207 two pair, 2,796 three of a kind, 483 straights, 323 flushes, 193 full houses, 33 four of a kind and 2 straight flushes.
