SPOILS SHARED IN THIRD RUNNING OF PARTYPOKER.COM MONTHLY MILLION

Gibraltar – 8th April 2009 — 1567 players took their seats for the third running of the PartyPoker.com Monthly Million on Sunday and it was Holland and Denmark that shared the spoils. AceBarbara and IIIPLAYMEIII both walked away with $155,000.

Representatives from Canada, Australia, France and the United Kingdom also cashed at the final table. A total of 1567 players took part in the tournament which had a $1,000,000 prize pool and paid out 200 places. The world famous PartyPoker.com Bad Beat Jackpot also struck on Sunday with one player winning the lions share in the form of $205,978.

A PartyPoker.com spokesman said: “No nation has really stamped their dominance on the Monthly Million yet with different countries dominating the final table on all three occasions. The inaugural running of the tournament saw a win for France, while the second Monthly Million was dominated by Russia. We would like to congratulate all those that finished in the money on Sunday.”
