VIENNA CALLING! LAST WEEK OF QUALIFIERS ON PARTYPOKER.COM FOR AUSTRIAN EXTRAVAGANZA FINAL WPT BRATISLAVA ONLINE SATELLITE ON 20TH MARCH

Gibraltar – 8th March 2011 — Online qualifiers on http://www.partypoker.com for the back-to-back WPT Vienna and WPT Bratislava events at the end of this month have proved to be very popular, with the last online passage into the WPT Vienna Main Event taking place this Sunday 13th March and the final WPT Bratislava Main Event qualifier on Sunday 20th March.

A PartyPoker.com spokesman said: “Last week’s main WPT Vienna online satellite attracted 108 runners and gave away five packages, while the qualifier for WPT Bratislava brought in 90 players and gave away four packages. With the clock ticking towards the end of the qualifiers we’re expecting bumper fields delivering plenty of packages for these back-to-back events.”

The televised WPT Vienna, presented by PartyPoker.com, is a brand new stop on the World Poker Tour. The event takes place at the famous city’s fabulous Montesino Casino and promises to be one of the highlights of the 2011 tour. The €3,200+ €300 Main Event will run from 25th – 29th March 2011, with a €15,000 High Rollers running 28th – 30th March 2011. The WPT team of Mike Sexton, Jesse May and Kara Scott will be overseeing the action.  PartyPoker.com is offering online qualifiers worth $7,000 which include the main event buy-in, $1,400 spending money, five nights’ hotel accommodation and hospitality. Daily qualifiers continue this week and, as ever, there is daily freeroll options. The final $350 + $25 weekly online satellite takes place this Sunday at 15.20 ET.

Online qualifiers for WPT Bratislava, presented by PartyPoker.com, run until Sunday 20th March. Bratislava in Slovakia is one of the most action-packed European stops on the ever-expanding WPT tour. The €2,500 + €220 Main Event at the Golden Vegas Casino runs from March 30th – April 3rd.
